Great Marches in U.S. History

Great Marches in U.S. History

The United States has witnessed many historic marches.  The March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963 was one of the most famous marches in world history. Yet many of America's most famous marches have been forgotten or related into the annals of history.  At Rememberinghistory.com, we want to honor those marches and the people who participated in them and made them so effective. In this podcast, you will hear about great marches in which thousands of people participated. We will also mention smaller--but equally effective--protest marches.  The podcast will end with a presentation of a one-man march, which is still one of the powerful and touching marches in American history.  Get ready to be inspired!
